11.29.24: While all presidential winners like to claim voters gave them a mandate, Trump's vistory does not support the claim. Although winning the Electoral College 312 EV to Kamala's 226 EV, Cook Political Report shows Trump did not earn a majority of American voters — 50.21% of Americans voted AGAINST him when including OTHER VOTERS. Trump garnered only 49.79% of the popular vote. His supporters undoubtably will continue chants of mandate and landslide. Numbers do not support their position. MAGA ran a misinformation campaign. Expect the deceptive claims to continue.
Crypto is CURRENCY of Criminals and Cartels 😡
The president-elect's support of cyber currencies seem counter to his interest in sealing our southern border. Mexico isn't pleased about all the illegal guns and heavy weapons crossing their border from USA. Cyber currencies pay for these shipments; and are used to fund illegal products and human trafficking in the other direction. Paper currencies are easier to track and difficult for traffickers to manage. Don makes it easier for them.

Mexico Calls Trump's Bluff
11.27.24: Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum publicly rebuked Donald Trump Tuesday, warning that the president-elect’s proposal for import tariffs would result in mutually assured economic destruction for both countries.
Seventy percent of the illegal weapons seized from criminals in Mexico come from your country. We do not produce these weapons, nor do we consume synthetic drugs. Tragically, it is in our country that lives are lost to the violence resulting from meeting the drug demand in yours.
The U.S. conducts more trade with Mexico than any other country, importing $475 billion in goods from Mexico last year and exporting almost $323 billion. So Sheinbaum's warning basically amounted to: "You don’t want these problems."

On February 14, 1779, Kamehameha and his raiders murdered Cook. First, Kanaka STOLE one of the ship's long boats ... critical asset of a exploration voyage. Ships were too large to get to shore. Long boats were the only way to replenish food & water. STEALING a boat therefore endangered the crew and mission. STEAL a horse in USA west, get hung !!!
Unusual for a captain, Cook joined the shore party — hoped his leadership would help mediate a peaceful return of British property. Kanaka killed him brutally — tearing him limb from limb. Some like to boast that their ancestors ate him.🤭

And, that's why I'm reading "The Legends and Myths of Hawai'i," written by the last king of the kingdom, David Kalākaua. Chels ridicules me for seeking to know more about this rich culture. Seems she's afraid to accept that her ancestors, as did mine and yours, made mistakes in the past. As island people love to tease, Chels' position is all net and no fish in this debate. 😂
Remember History of Hawai'i
Americans, White males in particular, suffer sometimes violent resentment in the islands. This negative energy is unfortunate. When Captain Cook arrived on Kaua'i in 1778, estimates suggest there were about 600,000+ Kanaka in the islands. By 1893 when the queen was imprisoned for allegedly inciting a revolution, only 40,000 remained.
Under the rule of monarchs, the Kanaka were heading toward extinctioin. Due to USA protection, the Kanaka now number more than 400,000. The FREEDOM and advanced social structure of USA has been positive for the Kanaka. Life in the islands — a resort economy based on tourism — is challenging for all residents.
In 1887, the Honolulu Rifles, local volunteer militia, confronted Kingdom of Hawai’i King David Kalākaua. Led by William W. Hall, who founded Hawaiian Electric Co. in 1891, the militia demanded a new constitution. The agreement restrained the power and spending of the king and monarchy — patterned after England’s example.
David Kalākaua was a lavish spender with The People’s money. He commissioned an expensive ship that was custom built in England, for example, and was the FIRST king in history to circumnavigate the globe — paid for by high taxes on residents and businesses in the islands. The king died in 1891.
Remnants of the disbanded Rifles led the Committee of Safety in 1893 to arrest David’s sister, Lydia, who had assumed the title Queen Lili’uokalani. Lydia was angery with her brother for signing what is knowns as the Bayonet Constitution. She sought to return power and resources to the monarchy.
The kingdom suffered recession at the time and Queen Lili'uokalani proposed a national lottery and sales of opium to finance the monarchy. Too spooky for local leaders. The Committee imprisoned Lydia in the ‘Iolani Palace.
In 1894, local officials formed the Republic of Hawai’i, selected Kingdom of Hawai’i Chief Justice Sanford Dole as first and only president. In 1895, Lydia formally abdicated the throne, and officially recognized the Republic, along with about 20 other nations of the world. The Republic had become the legitimate government in the islands.
Officials today do not honor "Aloha Spirit" — except to protect and advance their privilege. Corporations formed the new monarchy in Hawai’i and govern today with an oligarchical volcanic fist. Hawai'i has one-party rule with collusion between government and industry. Hawai’i is considered by many experts to be the Most Corrupt State in the Nation. The People are treated (and paid) like peasants.
This corruption fuels Kanaka resentment, as the rich care for each other — not the people, and the Ruling Class is afraid of more rifles in Hawai’i. They remember 1776 and 1887.
