Contrary to Lisa's claims, my father is alive and doing well. Had the opportunity to honor him this Veterans day. Combat Vet. Named after our grandfather, Robert A Lower. Private Lower was awared the Medal of Honor as a union soldier leading the charge at the Siege of Vicksburg. Remarkable history!

After serving in the Korean war, my father returned to earn his college degree while on basketball scholarship. He coached, taught public school, and retired as a top principal in his state. I taught middle and high school in the same district. Instructed undergradute courses and graduate seminars in pursuit of my PhD in political science, economics and advanced statistics.

The Wizard of Waikiki seeks to educate followers and motivate advanced discussions about U.S. public policy and foreign affairs. Discourse on social media seems to descend quickly into emotional shouting matches. Americans will be better served if we listen more to each other and search for compromise. A nation divided will find it hard to stand as the world leader.

High Expectations; Strong Support

12.7.24: December 7th ... a date that will live in infamy. Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Asians make up about 7% of the USA population; about 70% of population of Hawai'i. And today, Japanese Americans are the second largest Asian group in the islands next to Filipinos. Both groups contribute immeasurable value to the state and nation.

Even if they come from poorer, less educated families, Asian Americans significantly outperform White students by fifth grade. Asians are many of the BEST & BRIGHTEST in America. Their families have high expectations while providing strong support. They inspire the American Dream.

Trump Failed to Win a Mandate

11.29.24: While all presidential winners like to claim voters gave them a mandate, Trump's vistory does not support the claim. Although winning the Electoral College 312 EV to Kamala's 226 EV, Cook Political Report shows Trump did not earn a majority of American voters — 50.21% of Americans voted AGAINST him when including OTHER VOTERS. Trump garnered only 49.79% of the popular vote. His supporters undoubtably will continue chants of mandate and landslide. Numbers do not support their position. MAGA ran a misinformation campaign. Expect the deceptive claims to continue.

Trump Divides Americans on Thanksgiving 😡

11:28.24: MAGA skewered Joe Biden for referring to Trump & supporters as "gargage." Kamala asked the two men to be more respectful. Americans hoped to turn the page on past negativity and insults.

Trump however seeks to be the Divider-in-Chief: "Radical Left Lunatics" ... seems worse that garbage, but why go there? Thanksgiving is a family day; a day to bring us together. He divides. Wasn't a landslide. He polarizes. Trump received only 48.2% of the popular vote; 51.8% of Americans voted against him. Wise president-elects would use this opportunity to heal. Trump thrust a dagger into the Hearts & Minds of 50% of the nation on our cherished family observation.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Trump Threatens Massive Tariffs 😡

11.25.24: President-elect announced his plan to impose extreme tariffs of 25% on goods entering the U.S. from Mexico and Canada; and 35% from goods coming from China. Add these "taxes" to expected increases in food prices due to his plan to deport some 20% of farm workers believed to be ILLEGAL, and costs for American familes will soar. WE WARNED YOU !!!

The president-elect's support of cyber currencies seem counter to his interest in sealing our southern border. Mexico isn't pleased about all the illegal guns and heavy weapons crossing their border from USA. Cyber currencies pay for these shipments; and are used to fund illegal products and human trafficking in the other direction. Paper currencies are easier to track and difficult for traffickers to manage. Don makes it easier for them.

Crypto is CURRENCY of Criminals and Cartels 😡

11.26.24: We all want safe streets, right? Crypto enables criminals and cartels. Why are we helping out? Don Trump and Elon Musk favor wider use of crypto currencies. Ordinary people have NO specific need for crypto. They're new, different and intriguing, sure. These digital currencies however grease the wheels in trafficking ILLEGAL drugs, guns, fentanyl and human beings. 😱

Cut crime. Don't use crypto or invest. There is NO functional value using digital currenciecy — and great risk. Most who dive in are seeking to "get rich quick", although they are aiding — abetting CRIMINALS !!! Don't get sucked in. 🤬 [see Crypto Fuels Cartels]

Mexico Calls Trump's Bluff

11.27.24: Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum publicly rebuked Donald Trump Tuesday, warning that the president-elect’s proposal for import tariffs would result in mutually assured economic destruction for both countries.

Seventy percent of the illegal weapons seized from criminals in Mexico come from your country. We do not produce these weapons, nor do we consume synthetic drugs. Tragically, it is in our country that lives are lost to the violence resulting from meeting the drug demand in yours.

The U.S. conducts more trade with Mexico than any other country, importing $475 billion in goods from Mexico last year and exporting almost $323 billion. So Sheinbaum's warning basically amounted to: "You don’t want these problems."

USA 1898 Annexation of Hawai'i Thwarted Japan's Plans of Occupation

December 7, 2024 HISTORICAL FEATURE... Japan had long seen Hawai'i as part of its Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere. Before that term was even coined, as early as the 1870s, Japanese Foreign Secretary Taneomi Soejima reportedly “considered taking over the [Hawaiian] Islands.” [3]

In 1889, Japan prepared a secret 100-year plan to take over “American and British possessions in the Pacific, including Hawai'i.” [4] Japanese activist Keishiro Inoue “urged throughout the 1890s that Japan must rule Hawai'i in order to protect itself in the Pacific.” [5]

These plans were fueled by the large number of Japanese who had emigrated to Hawai'i to work in the sugar industry. From the late 1800s to the mid-20th century, the Japanese became Hawaii’s largest ethnic population, 160,000 strong by 1941. [6] Tokyo regarded these expatriates as a form of territorial expansion, if not a forerunner of occupation

By the 1890s, Hawaii’s leaders who overthrew the Hawaiian monarchy knew that “Hawai'i was fair game for some colonial power, and rather than see their investments . . . fall under control of England, France, Germany, or Japan . . . they opted for a permanent tie with America through Annexation.” [7]

Japan opposed annexation. Its minister in Washington, Toru Hoshi, disingenuously assured Secretary of State John Sherman that “Japan ‘did not have and never did have’ designs upon the integrity and sovereignty of Hawai'i.” In fact, Hoshi had recommended to the Japanese Foreign Minister that, to prevent annexation, “a strong naval armament should be at once dispatched for the purpose of occupying the islands by force.” [8]

Japan’s warship Naniwa was sent to Honolulu to discourage annexation. But that hastened passage in part to keep “Hawai'i from Japan’s clutches.” [9]

As the prominent U.S. Senator George Frisbie Hoar declared before Congress, if Hawai'i was not annexed, it “will fall . . . prey to Japan, not by conquest but by immigration. This result all parties agree that we must prevent.” [10]

Tulsi and Mike Gabbard Should Not Be Trusted

Mike and Carol Gabbard, daughter Tulsi (left), are kind, delightful people. Tulsi was elected to be my congresswomen in 2013. Became friends with Mike in 2019. Served Tulsi during her 2020 run for president.

Don Trump selected Tulsi to be the next Director of National Intelligence. Poor decision. Tulsi should not be trusted to uphold the interests of America. Tulsi lied to me in 2020, while I backed her presidential run.

“[Tulsi] was proving to be a little shallow, like a House member talking at a hearing and not someone who needs to provide the president’s daily intelligence briefing,” the source familiar said.

“I’ve heard that [Tulsi]’s not very well prepared ... I’ve heard not great things,” the Senate GOP member said, describing them as “BS sessions.”

Prior to Kamala Harris announcing her healthcare proposal in 2020, I offered Tulsi Gabbard a better system. Tulsi had promised to meet with anyone. She lied to me. Tulsi could have saved Americans. Tulsi's position on COVID19 protocols December 2020 was extreme, as documented below.

Tulsi championed "no regime change wars" in the 2020 campaign. Intellectual position. Didn't grab Americans sitting around the dining room table. Tulsi promised to meet with Anyone Anywhere. I asked to meet — anywhere anytime.

Tulsi's loyalties are confusing. Local residents in Hawai'i express strong anti-USA sentiment. They don't like Americans — particularly White males, frequently called "haoles," and blame them for the 1887 and 1893 political upheavals. Many claim the islands are illegally occupied by the USA, and foreign interests are encouraged.

"The C.I.A. and the F.B.I. are trembling," Komsomoskaya Pravda, a Russian newspaper, wrote in a glowing profile of Tulsi, noting positively that Ukrainians consider Tulsi to be "an agent of the Russian state." Rossiya-1, a state television channel, called her a Russian "comrade" in Trump's emerging cabinet [source].

BREAKING: Nearly 100 "national security officials" have reportedly signed a letter expressing opposition to Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation as Director of National Intelligence (DNI).

Tulsi's aunt, Caroline “Sina” Sinavaiana-Gabbard, an acclaimed poet and teacher, was brutally murdered in Somoa May 2024. In an 2022 interview with The Independent, Sina warned that her niece’s career is all about the pursuit of power:

A Japanese Buddhist group, Shinnyo-en, tramples on the honor and memory of fallen service men and women. We've made many requests to end the conflict harmoniously. The Gabbards have refused to defend America's boys and girls, men and women.

In my experience, the Gabbards do not put America first. They are grounded in Chris Butler Hare-Kristna fundamentalism (SIF). Butler, son of a communist anti-war activist, entered the 1960s counterculture while enrolled at the University of Hawaiʻi.

It's reported that anyone who has had the misfortune of meeting a member of the cult appears to believe they are less Hindu and more pot-smoking societal misfits seeking a sense of meaning and self through the appropriation of Indian culture and the Hindu religion [source].

As a teenager, Tulsi claims she moved away from SIF and "fully embraced Hinduism," and follows the Vaishnava branch that believes in the Supreme Lord.

Wolf reported that Boni and Tulsi said they did everything Butler told them to do. They told Wolf they would kill themselves if Butler said to, and “they would kill anyone who tried to attack” him ... [more]

Tulsi has expressed extreme positions on LGBT+ rights, spread disinformation about Ukrainian biolabs, and claimed she was being shadowbanned by Big Tech while using her vast social media footprint to label Joe Biden a "warmonger."

Tulsi was criticzed in 2019 for claiming, "Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is not the enemy of the United States." President al-Assad used weaponized chlorine gas against residents of the city of Douma in April 2018.

When questioned if she thought Assad was a good person, Tulsi said, “No, I don’t.” When asked if Russian President Vladimir Putin was an adversary to the US, she responded, "Yes." Tulsi's lack of opposition to Vlad's military aggression in Ukraine is disturbing. Hard to trust any official or representative when they take mixed positions.

Kanaka / Native Hawaiians Voted Heavily for Trump

On February 14, 1779, Kamehameha and his raiders murdered Cook. First, Kanaka STOLE one of the ship's long boats ... critical asset of a exploration voyage. Ships were too large to get to shore. Long boats were the only way to replenish food & water. STEALING a boat therefore endangered the crew and mission. STEAL a horse in USA west, get hung !!!

Unusual for a captain, Cook joined the shore party — hoped his leadership would help mediate a peaceful return of British property. Kanaka killed him brutally — tearing him limb from limb. Some like to boast that their ancestors ate him.🤭

And, that's why I'm reading "The Legends and Myths of Hawai'i," written by the last king of the kingdom, David Kalākaua. Chels ridicules me for seeking to know more about this rich culture. Seems she's afraid to accept that her ancestors, as did mine and yours, made mistakes in the past. As island people love to tease, Chels' position is all net and no fish in this debate. 😂

Remember History of Hawai'i

Americans, White males in particular, suffer sometimes violent resentment in the islands. This negative energy is unfortunate. When Captain Cook arrived on Kaua'i in 1778, estimates suggest there were about 600,000+ Kanaka in the islands. By 1893 when the queen was imprisoned for allegedly inciting a revolution, only 40,000 remained.

Under the rule of monarchs, the Kanaka were heading toward extinctioin. Due to USA protection, the Kanaka now number more than 400,000. The FREEDOM and advanced social structure of USA has been positive for the Kanaka. Life in the islands — a resort economy based on tourism — is challenging for all residents.

In 1887, the Honolulu Rifles, local volunteer militia, confronted Kingdom of Hawai’i King David Kalākaua. Led by William W. Hall, who founded Hawaiian Electric Co. in 1891, the militia demanded a new constitution. The agreement restrained the power and spending of the king and monarchy — patterned after England’s example.

David Kalākaua was a lavish spender with The People’s money. He commissioned an expensive ship that was custom built in England, for example, and was the FIRST king in history to circumnavigate the globe — paid for by high taxes on residents and businesses in the islands. The king died in 1891.

Remnants of the disbanded Rifles led the Committee of Safety in 1893 to arrest David’s sister, Lydia, who had assumed the title Queen Lili’uokalani. Lydia was angery with her brother for signing what is knowns as the Bayonet Constitution. She sought to return power and resources to the monarchy.

The kingdom suffered recession at the time and Queen Lili'uokalani proposed a national lottery and sales of opium to finance the monarchy. Too spooky for local leaders. The Committee imprisoned Lydia in the ‘Iolani Palace.

In 1894, local officials formed the Republic of Hawai’i, selected Kingdom of Hawai’i Chief Justice Sanford Dole as first and only president. In 1895, Lydia formally abdicated the throne, and officially recognized the Republic, along with about 20 other nations of the world. The Republic had become the legitimate government in the islands.

Officials today do not honor "Aloha Spirit" — except to protect and advance their privilege. Corporations formed the new monarchy in Hawai’i and govern today with an oligarchical volcanic fist. Hawai'i has one-party rule with collusion between government and industry. Hawai’i is considered by many experts to be the Most Corrupt State in the Nation. The People are treated (and paid) like peasants.

This corruption fuels Kanaka resentment, as the rich care for each other — not the people, and the Ruling Class is afraid of more rifles in Hawai’i. They remember 1776 and 1887.
